Went to City Winery for a John Gorka concert and really enjoyed it. The space is beautiful, exposed chicago brick everywhere, big archways, tasteful and fun decor. The concert seating is really nice, just tables and chairs around the room with some nice dim lighting for the show. The staff was helpful as well. We got the charcuterie board with some beef sliders and some wine. Everything was good! It was a teensy bit pricey but really not bad for the west loop area. Big fan of the zinfandel wine they served, and of course it went well with all the food we got. I would definitely come back here for a concert! The vibe is really relaxed, it's great to be able to enjoy some food with the music. Overall great time.

Want a great entertainment experience? You'll find it at City Winery! Been to several shows over the last few months, and have not been disappointed!!!

Yes best birthday ever. Know where to sit next time. A little tight but great show and experience. It was really a nice evening for me on my Birthday

I went here for the soulful valentine brunch. It was my first time visiting. I opted out of the brunch because it didn't look appetizing. The performance was phenomenal the young lady Precious did great. I forgot the guy name but he did an awesome job too. The ambiance was nice, the seating is arranged for everyone to get a good view. I purchased tickets for two and selected seats with only my party. The concept there is to sit with others you may not know. I will be returning. The drinks were good. We had a $25.00 minimum to spend, in addition to the ticket price.

Venue- Great intimate setting to enjoy an array of artist! Almost every table has a good view of the stage. The crowd is usually very engaged and mature. Robert Glasper recently brought the house down! There is always such a long list of great artist passing through, performing for several days during the week. Up next Raheem Devaughn!!!! Can not wait!! Service- Staff is generally hurried, though very friendly. There is often a looooong wait for drinks and meals. I give grace because it is often packed to the hilt. And the professionalism and good attitudes of the servers shows they are working as diligently as they can. Food- it's hit or miss depending on dish. My group didn't enjoy the wings. No season at all. Truffle fries a hit. And the drinks were strong! Once the long wait to get them to the table passed.

We visited the City Winery for a comedy show. I recommend arriving early to have time to order food & beverages before the show starts. Also, to get ideal seating. We were seated right away after checking into will call for the show. Our host was very thoughtful in explaining how the food would be served & recommended we share 2 dishes per person. We tried the steak, salad and truffle fries and the hot honey pizza. Food items arrived a couple at a time. Mostly everything was delicious. The steak was a little chewy. We ordered a half bottle of wine & standard beverages. No complaints there. The show itself was great. I like this venue because it is a smaller intimate crowd.

City Winery is my go to for a fun evening of wine or entertainment. Now that I have a wine membership I make sure I come for the pickup parties. The food menu is ok. They have happy hour specials from 4-6pm Mon-Fri. They also accept the inkind app payments. Valet is $20 but if you have the wine club membership you get complimentary valet parking. I here for the wine.
